Celebrating Tan..

Since we had no budget for our impromptu photo shoot, Ian used several sheets of kitchen aluminum foil as reflector, and I went ahead and did my own makeup. Petroleum jelly, anyone? It turns out, doing my makeup wasn't that hard.. I have done pageants and just tried to "remember" what my professional makeup artist usually does on my face.

Ian was wonderful. He carefully positioned my body in ways that were flattering to me. He tells me to look straight into the camera and not smile. According to him, there is a certain "sadness" in my eyes that is bittersweet.

Ian, thank you for showing me that brown is beautiful. You are a brilliant photographer.
